Keller bids adeu!!
This has been what you can call my farewell tour because this I will not be playing in the CFF League next fall because I am going to OU to play football. I just want to say I had a great time and maybe after I graduate from college in 2 years I will be able to play again. Also, one last thing, you know the Spring '07 Lightning are the best team in CFF history!!! Nah, I'm just playing, but seriously, good luck to everyone this week and good luck next fall.

JUST WANTED TO SAY I HAD FUN IN MY FIRST YEAR IN THIS LEAUGE. I WIIL BE BACK IN THE FALL IF SHANNON THINKS HE CAN PUT UP WITH MY MOUTH ANYMORE. I PROMISE TO TRY AND KEEP IT IN CONTROL. BIG UPS TO THE LANCASTER LIGHTNING AND THE GOOD SEASON THEY HAD. BRIAN JONES AND I WERE BOYS AT WEST HIGH BACK IN THE DAY, SO IT IS GOOD TO SEE HIM HAVING A GOOD YEAR. Don't give yourselves an undefeated season, the regular season,
and tournament trophies just yet. Overlooking the Go Gettas can be a bad loss
for you guys. You didn't play the Go Gettas that has 5 straight victories with
wins over Cap City, Napoleon Dynamites, Voodoo Kin Mafia, and the other two
other lesser teams. You played a team that was unorganized and first time playing
together. We made alot of mistakes in that game defensively and offensively.
The last game of the season if everybody is there and healthy, we are going to
serve you your first loss of the season. "If everybody is healthy and there."
Shannon gave you all a present by putting you experienced guys, who has play
together a while, against a team who has only played together 0 times before
you all. We will have a surprise for you all the last game of the season.

Keller Calls out the League!!!
"I'm usually not one to talk noise but come on, we need to get this going. It makes things more interesting when people talk, it's all just in good fun, nobody will take it personal, we're in a Christian league. Well, since Brooker is cooling it this year as far as the talking goes, I'll start things up. Here are my 2007 predictions. 1. Lightning run through the regular season undefeated. 2. Lightning run through the playoffs undefeated and make history. 3. Lightning defense named "One of the Best defenses in CFF history" with as of now only giving up an average of 3.5 points per game and 3 shutouts. 4. Richmond says Wildcatz lucky to Win!
Jason Richmond of the revamped Headhunters said and I quote: "The Wildcatz would have lost that game no doubt about it, if we would have had more practice as a team together, once we get our timing down, we'll be hard to stop". "The Wildcatz will lose to us in our next meeting. Mark it down" Well, we shall see.

As I walked off the field for the last time...I was really disappointed that I didn't get the job done leading my team, the A-Team, to face the mighty Wildcats in the championship game. As I found out later on that the Wildcats had beaten the Lancaster Lighting in the final game...I tip my hat to the them on a job well done. Way to go Marco...you backed up the talk. Wildcats are a true legit team with class and I'm gonna miss playing against you guys.
As for me retiring...a lot of you guys don't realized I'm 38 yrs old. My body(mainly my arm) has taken its toll over the years of playing softball and flag football which I've done for the last 20yrs. That's not counting my school playing days at Canal Winchester. Playing quarterback is my first love...mainly because I love to throw...always has and always will. And before I close out...I want to say that I had a great time playing this past spring and I'm gonna miss hanging out with all the fellas of this whole league. I've made a lot of good friends in this league. Shannon...keep up the good work with this legit league. First class all the way. I want to mention of few names that showed a lot of class throughout the spring games...my team...the A-Team, David Steger/Jeremy Clark of the Muppets & Phil Schumaker of the Warriors. Everyone on the Wolfpac. Phil, Anthony, Teddy, and Josh of the Lancaster Lighting. Adam, Josh, Jeremy of the Pink Ladies. Nick of Cap City. Everyone on the Wildcats. So...with that...I'm riding off into the sunset. Take care everybody and go A-Team.

A-Team summons Farley!!
The A-Team is looking to replace their retired QB Dolph Miller. The A-Team could be looking at Adam Farley should he choose not to renew his contract with the Pink Ladies. This could be the missing piece to the puzzle.
Miller, QB of the A-Team, retires..
It has been a good run for
Dolph Miller. But yesterday as he walked off the field, he said that he
was retiring. With his team the A-Team battling into the semi-final
game against the Lancaster Lightning, only to fall 5 points short at
25-20. Miller leaves the league considered by most in the early part of
his career as a true passer great at throwing the timing pattern. Good
luck in the future Dolph, and hopefully will see you around.

I don't know how Teddy
didn't win offensive player of the week, but it doesnt really matter-
he is the player of the year in the league hands down. I think a couple
of other guys could have been, but their teams didn't get the ball to
them enough. You got to have a go to guy that you go to when your back
is against the wall. I'd like to give my team credit for playing hurt,
it was a gutsy performance to go out there as banged up as Jeremy and
Josh were and play as well as they did. We didn't have our subs this
week. But it was a great game- we came up a little short. Now the
Lightning are the team to beat. Next season I will bring another team
into the league. The Goats wil return. Anyone interested in joining
send me an email, the roster is open. The Ladies have plenty of guys to
stay strong and they'll be just as good without me. Get ready for the

Houpe of Wildcatz left with bitter taste in mouth..
Ok, Ok, Ok... I must say I have never been so disappointed in my
illustrious football career as I was this past Saturday.
Even the year the Ohio Swarm (Simi-Pro Football) went to a play off game in
Kokomo Indiana with only 18 guys doesn't discuss me as much as the Wildcatz
not showing up to play when we were in first place.
Saturday was a good day for all of the teams and GREAT for the league
itself.
Congratulations to the Lancaster Lightning for a well played season. I was
really looking forward to meeting you guys in the championship game but it
just wasn't to be with only for out of eight guys showing up. (man, that
sucks) Lets face it, We were the defending champions of the spring league
and had we all been there this past Saturday we would have been champions
once again. When we are hitting on all cylinder we cant be beat.
Unfortunately on Saturday we were a V8 reduced to a 4 banger and the just
didn't pack the punch we needed to reach the finish line.
I would also want to say congratulations to the Muppets and the Wolfpack
and thanks for kicking us when we were down (LOL, just kidding, great games
guys)
Look out next year as the "THUNDERCATZ" come looking for dinner. (The
Thundercatz are come'n 4 ya!)

"The Real Wildcatz are back"
Just wanted to let everyone know, That there was some great games on Saturday. I know all of the trash talking I've been doing, is to get people up for the game. That's what I use to do when I played College Ball. Plus it gets me up for the game. Now everyone caught a glimpse of the Real Wildcatz on Saturday, but we haven't reached our full potential yet. Once I start playing FOR REAL its over...............

Farley, Pink Ladies, tell A-Team to back off!
You can't be "the team to beat" until you are the defending champions. The defending champs are always the team to beat, they deserve it. This week we got outplayed by a very good Cap City team. We played like ladies. Fortunately, we improved and our second game certainly lived up to all the hype. I heard from several people that there was a bad call at the end of the game. I wished it would have went into OT if that was the case, because I don't like winning like that. Can't the refs start taking the word of everyone on the sideline when they don't see it? Just admit they don't see it. It is impossible to see everything and an extra set of eyes can't hurt. Anyways, it was a great game and the next one will be just as good I'm sure. There is no clear-cut best team in this league.
As for the best player stuff between Mike and Mansfield. They are both college-caliber athletes who are easily #1 and #2, you decide which is which. Any QB with either of these guys on their squad should be tearing up the stats! I played with Mike on the 2004 championship Goats and we were scoring 40 a game and the only game we lost was when we had 3 guys. (Had Mike been 1 of the 3, we would have won that too. We lost by 6.) I wish we kept stats back then! But despite these guys being the best players, it is the best team that will win it all. Play calling and team unity are very under-rated. "The referee has issued a verbal warning to Mansfield Brooker stating that any 'over the top gloating' and/or 'excessive trash-talking' will result in a game penalty and/or ejection from the game. Brooker has gloated all week about how he is the best player in the league, and the referee's office has taken this path to prevent any on-field altercations.

After reading Brooker's claim as to being the "best player" in the league, I don't agree with it. There's only one player that stands out in this league of ours...that player is MIKE CARLISLE. NOBODY can stop this guy. Everybody can say what they want to say...but right now...I'm declaring that the A-Team is the team to beat. Adam Farley(P.Ladies)...you even said we were the team to beat. And for Mansfield Brooker...you're still an All-Star in my book. Also, I want to mention Teddy Keller and Anthony Dupler...you guys are fun to watch. See you on the field.

Talk-it up has been a good addition. I don't think anyone has said anything offensive. It's like reading what pro-players say in the papers. Though I have missed hearing from Mansfield! I agree that Josh Martin should not have been defensive player of the week. Since he caught the passes against Bill, aka "Hellen Keller," he thinks he can cover two guys.
Lightening vs. the Ladies will be a great game, fortunately, for whoever loses we get to play twice. With these bright pink jerseys. I shouldn't throw 5 pics this time around, I hope. Good luck guys!

I wasn't trying to start anything, and by no means are you guys a 3rd Rate Team, your 4-0 convincingly. I think it is going to be a great game, a very anticipated matchup. Don't be surprised if we go down to the final seconds in a very close game. It's going to be fun and good luck to you guys!!!

I really think all this "smack" is getting out of control. As of now...I see 9 legit teams in this league. With that being said...anything can happen. So, let the games play out to the end. I'm sure I'm not the only one fortunate to play due to pressing family matters every weekend. But, I just want to point out that I'm having a lot of fun playing and I don't want to see this league get out of control. If we maintain our control...this could be one of the best season(s) ever. To me...there's still no clear "favorite"...to win the league and/or the Tournament Championship for Spring of 2006. I was responding to someone calling us a 3rd rate team. Stats don't mean anything to me, I was having fun with Dom, or I wouldn't take myself out of games when we have a big lead as I have in the past. The only thing that means anything to me is winning. Have fun trying to cover Jeremy. That should be a good match up both ways, if I can get around Josh's blitzes. Good luck!

Hey Adam, I don't think we can start naming the "Best" Players quite yet. For one, it's early in the year, and two, I know of a few teams that have only played 3 games, so the stats would be a lot different if those teams played in that fourth game. All I have to say is let your playing do the talking and take it from their.

You catch 2 errant passes from a QB having an off-day and all of a sudden your Deion Sanders. Get over it. But don't talk smack about us when we already beat you guys down. That is tacky. If you want to know who is the best check the stats at the end of the year. As a matter of fact check them now. I'm 2nd to no other QB in this league and Jeremy is the best all-around player. You better recognize fool! I don't need to respond to anymore stupid comments. But I'd like to say to any other fool who thinks they are better than us. BRING IT! I pity the fool!!! We got 2 tough games against 2 great teams in the best division this week. Those are the only 2 teams that can beat us. We will prepare for them, rather than focus on comments by people we already beat down.

I played against the top QB in the league and probably the 2nd best team in the league, next to us! I had 2 picks, several tackles and then on the offensive side I caught 2 TD's and threw for another!!! Man those Pink ladies probably had a good game but not as good as I did, and mine was against a more superior opponent!
