Gm 7: Cap City 23 vs. Napoleon Dynamites
CapCity avenges semi-final loss to Dynamites!
CapCity lost by one lousy point last year in overtime at the hands of Nick Reid and the Dynamites in the semi-finals of the playoffs. But today, CapCity got some small revenge thanks to Ivan King's huge 2nd half int. and return for 6 that put CapCity up for good. With the score tied at 14, Ivan King picked off Carl Locke of the Dynamites and returned the pass 17 yards for the game winning score. A safety on the next drive would seal the game for CapCity.
Gm 4: Voodoo K.Mafia 8 vs. Go Gettas 13
Go Gettas "Snatch" one from the Voodoo!
Jason Richmond made a game changing catch for a TD over Taman Ivory, and the Go Gettas used solid defense to secure a hard fought win over the previously un beaten Voodoo Kin Mafia. In a tightly contested game from the outset, the Mafia trailed 7-6 at the half, but after a safety on a dropped ball in the endzone by Brooker of the Go Gettas put the Voodoo on top 8-7, the fore mentioned Jason Richmond snatched an Adam Farley pass for the winning TD with just over 2 minutes left to play. The Go Gettas finished week 2 with a 3-1 record while the Mafia lost for the first time and fell to 2-1.
Gm 5: Great Danes 18 vs. Nap.Dynamites 20

With a great drive that looked to seal the game, the Great Danes John Henson scored the go ahead TD with 21 seconds left to put the Great Danes up 18-14. The failed two point conversion would prove costly however. With Napoleon getting the ball to midfield on a catch by Josh Martin and having only 6 seconds on the clock, Carl Locke lofted a ball toward the endzone and Jeremy Nye of Napoleon came down with it in the endzone as time expired giving the Dynamites a last 2nd heart pounding win over the Danes who fell to 1-2 while the Dynamites finished up wk 2 at 2-2.

Gm 7: Headhunters 35 vs. Fantastic4 25
Headhunters go deep vs. Fantastic4!!
"Throw the ball deep" was the theme of this game. Lacking the speed or depth to stay with the younger and faster Headhunters, the Fantastic4 could only slow down the Headhunters by controlling the ball on offense. Which they did quite well, nearly pulling off a stunning defeat. Trailing by three 21-18 late in the game, Nathan Coey dove trying to catch a Mark Barrett pass but came up short and left the Fantastic4 down 3 with 3 minutes to play. But another deep throw by Jeff Leonard to Justin Odenthall for the fourth time of the day put the score out of reach and another game effort the Fantastic4 was all for naught. The Headhunters improved to 3-3 while the Fantastic4 will have to try and get a win next week.
Gm 8: Voodoo Kin Mafia 15 vs. Nap. Dynamites 21
Dynamite blows up Voodoo!!
"Come on guys, we should never be losing to these scrubs". That was the quote by Rob Woods of the Voodoo KinMafia during the game between his squad and the Dynamites. But little did he know that the old veterans have a lot of pride and fortitude and a former League Tournament MVP in Nick Reid on there side. Jeremy Ny tossed 3 TD passes to three different recievers and Nick Reid had a huge 2nd half sack to knock off the "Confident" Mafia 21-15 in a division game. Although the Dynamites did not score in the 2nd half, their steller play on defense held the Mafia in check and sent their division rival to a defeat they weren't expecting. Voodoo fell to 3-2 while the Dynamites finished week 3 @ 3-3.
Gm 8: The Franchise 26 vs. Nap. Dynamites 27
The Franchise give Dynamites all they can handle!
This game was an instant classic. With the score tied at the half @ 14-14, The Franchise Chris Johnson caught the 2nd of his 3 TD's to put the Franchise up 6. But the Dynamites, wiley old veterans they are, were not to be denied and tied the score 4 plays later when Jeremy Nye hit Carl Locke for the score. Again The Franchise would regain the lead on an amazing catch by CJ but again failed on their extra point. The Dynamites move the ball as usual and tied the score again with but as they do so well, converted their extra point for a 27-26 lead. The Franchise had one more opportunity to win but a KC Wendell pass on 3rd and goal sailed over the head of the intended reciever and left the Franchise 1 point shy of their biggest victory to date. The Dynamites kept their slim hopes alive for the Southeast division title.
Gm 9: CapCity 14 vs. Voodoo Kin Mafia 13
CapCity stuns Voodoo!!
CapCity led 7-0 @ halftime and took that lead well into the 2nd half before the Voodoo finally took advantage of a CapCity turnover. Two incompletions by the Voodoo ended any chance they had as they fell to 4-4 and CapCity improved to 6-2.
Gm 4: Voodoo K. Mafia 21 vs. Nap. Dynamites 35
Dynamites show Voodoo 1st time was no fluke!!
With a top 4 seed on the line and possible free fall for the loser looming, the Napoleon Dynamites proved to be to much to handle for the Voodoo for a 2nd straight game. The Go Gettas will now have to turn to next week to secure a spot in the League Championship Game as they fell to 8-2.
Great Danes self distruct in season finally!
Trailing only 6-0 @ the half the Great Danes turned in a great effort in the 2nd half to take the lead 20-13 with just over 30 seconds to go in the game. But that however is when the Great Danes found a way to lose yet another game. Leading by 7 and going for the extra point, Chris Woods intercepted a Raymer pass and returned it 55yards for a 1 point score to cut the lead to 20-14. 23 seconds later Bill Walden caught the game tieing TD and Rob Woods completed the stunning comeback win with the go ahead extra point and 21-20 win over the Great Danes.
